Thousands of years ago after the Creation of the World all the Gods were under the influence of a curse that made them weak and coward. The Gods made a temporary agreement with the Demons to work together and to find the nectar of immortality which would retain their powers. They churned the great milky ocean for a 1000 years and at the end they obtained amrita , the nectar of immortality. However, when the divine healer Dhanvantari appeared with the golden Kumbh pot that contained the nectar, first the Demons snatched the pot with the amrit, but then the Gods snatched it back, and then one of them turned into a bird and flew away with it. For twelve days equal to twelve human years the Demons chased the Gods in the sky and fought for the pot full of amrita. During the battle some drops of the nectar fell on four different places on earth. Since hundreds of years at these four locations the largest spiritual gathering on Earth takes place. Millions of pilgrims come from all over India to take a holy bath in the rivers, wherethe drops of immortality fell on. The holy bath takes place where the three sacred rivers Ganges, Yamuna and the invisible Sarasvati meet. Every human being that takes a bath on this particular days and place will attain liberation from all sins and be blessed by the Gods.

This video is about a journey and a spiritual quest for the nectar of immortality. It contains some impressions from the Kumbha Mela in India, Jan 2007. Watch out for this video very soon here in this section.

Interview with Baba Rampuri

Sven met "Baba Rampuri" in July 2006 when Sven helped to organise a party with Goagil in central Germany. Baba Rampuri is an "old" friend from Goagil.
He is a member and Baba (Yogi) of the very ancient spiritual group from India, called the "Naga Babas". Rampuri talkes about 'various topics like India, saddhus, gurus, disciples, kumbha mela festival, goatrance, his new book "BABA", western and eastern philosophy and spirituality. Getting in contact with publishers...


We met yamuna giri by chance!!!


In front of the "Messe Turm"!

Baba Rampuri came back to Frankfurt in october 2006 for the Frankfurt bookfair (special guest country was India!) to get in contact with publishers in order to translate his book into German and other languages.
We also organised the "Spirit of India"- Party with him.
He gave us an interesting lecture about his life and blessings.
Thank you Baba Rampuri and thanks for everyone who helped us.

Im Video erzählt Yamuna Giri uns etwas über Ihre Reise, über Kulturen, Ihre Kindheit und philosophische Einsichten. Das Video endet mit einer Yoga-Session.
Das Video wurde spontan nahe Frankfurt im Haus von Ossi und Sigi gedreht.

Yamuna Giri ist bereits seit jungen Jahren auf einer weltweiten Wanderschaft, die Sie in den 80ern nach Indien zu verschiedenen Gurus - den Naga Babas- führte.
Dort wurde sie als Saddhu, bzw. Sadvi (weibl.) initiiert und trägt auch heute noch die traditionelle indische Saddhu Kleidung.
Jahrelang hat sie in Indien meditierend in einer Höhle- und ein Leben in Askese mit Yoga verbracht.
Leider musste Sie aufgrund von Visa-Schwierigkeiten vor ein paar Jahren Indien verlassen. Sie hofft jedoch eines Tages wieder zurückkehren zu dürfen. Sie hat ein sehr interessantes Buch geschrieben:
"Inside out and Beyond"

Es geht hier um Ihre Reise, sowie um spirituelle Einsichten und Philosophien,
sowie um eine kritische Beleuchtung der aktuellen kulturellen und politischen Verhältnisse auf der Welt.
Yamuna beschreibt auch Ihre Kindheit zwischen den Welten am Rande von Berlin zu Zeiten des kalten Krieges.
Sie ist auch eine begnadete Malerin und malt wundervolle Bilder, so ist Ihr Buch mit zahlreichen Kunstbildern ausgestattet.
Es wäre schön dieses Buch zu veröffentlichen. Vielleicht kennt jemand einen interessierten Verleger.
